Community Guidelines
Divot Pivot's Community Guidelines are founded on our core values: Integrity, Connection, Inclusivity, and Community. These guidelines outline the expected behaviour for all users ("members") and ensure the platform remains a safe, respectful, and valuable resource for connecting golfers, so they can experience "Golf Beyond Boundaries".
By accessing or using the DivotPivot platform, you agree to adhere to these Community Guidelines, which form part of our Terms of Service.
I. Be Kind: Treating Others with Courtesy
We promote a culture of kindness and expect all members to uphold the highest standards of courtesy and mutual respect.

Do not engage in personal attacks, insults, or malicious acts targeting other members.
Do not threaten others or wish harm or death upon them.
If another member utilizes the platform’s block feature, you must not attempt to circumvent the block or contact them through other means.
You must be respectful when communicating with any Customer Care Representatives or other employees, and abuse or threats toward them are strictly prohibited.
2. Violence and Physical Harm
You should never threaten or incite any form of physical or mental harm through your words or physical actions.

Respect is the foundation of the relationships built on DivotPivot.
1. Discriminatory Behaviour and Hate Speech
There is no place in our community for hate speech, racism, or bigotry towards any individual or group.
We prohibit content that attacks, demeans, discriminates, or promotes harmful stereotypes based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, age, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease, or disability.
Posting of hate symbols and images is prohibited.
2. Inappropriate Language and Content
To maintain a friendly environment consistent with the etiquette of golf, the following are prohibited:
Swearing and vulgar language are not permitted, nor are attempts to bypass profanity filters.
Do not upload content containing any nudity, sexually explicit, or pornographic content.
Content that sexualises or endangers children, or involves child sexual exploitation or abuse, is prohibited and will be removed and reported.

Do not post content that infringes on anyone's copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Do not copy, reproduce, or otherwise exploit material found on the platform for commercial purposes.
III. Be Safe: Protecting Yourself and Others
Your personal safety, both online and during real-life (IRL) meetings, is paramount.
1. Private Information and Doxxing
You should never solicit another member for their private information.
Do not share private information that belongs to you or someone else, including contact information (physical address, phone number, email) or financial information (bank accounts, credit card numbers, passwords).
Doxxing (publishing private identifying information without consent) or encouraging others to harass/dox is strictly prohibited.
2. Illegal Activity and Restricted Goods
Do not use DivotPivot to engage in, promote, or condone anything illegal.
Do not post messages that support or condone illegal activities.
Do not use the platform to facilitate the trade, marketing, manufacturing, or use of restricted goods.

The guidelines apply to your interactions on the platform and in real life.
Always use your best judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when communicating with or meeting new people.

IV. Be Real: Promoting Authenticity and Integrity
DivotPivot requires honesty and transparency to foster genuine social connections.
1. Profile Authenticity
You must present yourself authentically and truthfully.
Age and Identity: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. Do not misrepresent your identity, age, golf club membership status, employment, or qualifications.
Impersonation: Creating accounts dedicated to impersonation or misrepresenting yourself to deceive others is prohibited.
Profile Images: Profile images should be focused on you, with your face clearly visible. Heavily edited images, filters, or memes are generally not allowed, as they detract from truthful representation.
2. No Commercial or Inauthentic Behaviour
The platform is designed exclusively for connecting golfers for personal use and social connections.
Scamming/Fraud: Do not use DivotPivot to spam people, solicit money or business, or defraud members.
Advertisements: Do not post advertisements for any other products or services. The platform is not a marketplace.
Platform Manipulation: Do not use automated systems, such as "robots" or "spiders," to access the Services in a burdensome manner or manipulate data.
Multiple Accounts/Ban Evasion: You must create only one account for your own personal use. You may not create new accounts to circumvent an enforcement action (ban evasion).
V. Reporting and Enforcement
1. Reporting Violations
Your help is critical in keeping the community safe. If you believe any content or behaviour violates these Guidelines, please report it immediately.
2. Consequences of Violation
DivotPivot reserves the right to review accounts and user actions to ensure compliance. If we find content or behaviour that violates these policies, we will take appropriate actions.
Actions may include removing violating content, issuing a warning, revoking or limiting access to features, enacting a temporary account suspension, or, for serious or repeated offenses, permanently suspending your account.
If your account is terminated due to a breach of these Terms, you will generally not be entitled to a refund for any paid services.
Submitting manifestly unfounded, false, or malicious reports against other members is also a violation and may result in enforcement action against your account.
3. Review Process and Appeals
We use a combination of automated detection and human review to enforce these guidelines. If you believe an action was taken against your account in error, we will notify you and offer an opportunity to appeal the enforcement decision.
These Community Guidelines were last updated in Nov 2025.
